Mike Rad has been privately coaching commercial and theatrical acting for over 15 years in Los Angeles.
He is very experienced coaching self tapes. He enjoys working in person and with the convenience of FaceTime or Zoom.

Mike has been a series regular on Comedy Central’s PRIME TIME GLICK with Martin Short. He has guest-starred on many television shows including: TELENOVELA, MARRY ME, LEGIT, WORKAHOLICS, EAGLE HEART, LEGENDS, WALKER TEXAS RANGER and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. He also had a recurring role role on the sci-fi cult hit SPECIAL UNIT 2.

He has performed in sketches for CONAN and THE TONIGHT SHOW.
He worked with Clive Owen in SHOOT EM UP, with Diane Lane in CINEMA VERITE, with Jerod Letto in SUNSET STRIP, and with Scarlett Johansson in THE NANNY DIARIES. He is most proud of my role in the Sundance Winner and Academy Award Nominated film AMERICAN SPLENDOR with Paul Giamatti and Hope Davis.
Mike recently filmed two episodes of the Amazon hit: THEM .
He just finished filming a limited series for Apple TV called THE SHRINK NEXT DOOR with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.

Mike has written, produced, and starred in the Award Winning shorts IT’S IN THE KITCHEN and I’M A CAT (also directed). He has starred in two award winning shorts GAME OF CHICKEN and SMOKING WET.
He created the stage show THE CRACKERJACK which I performed Off Broadway NYC and at the Fringe Festival. He is currently working on turning it into a feature film.

Mike Rad co-created and co-host a the monthly Stand-Up Show called ART DAMAGE. He is one half of the comedy team Zip Gun Boogie which has performed at the Fringe Festival and at the LA Comedy Festival. He also had a very successful One Person Show called MAKE IT A REALITY which he performed at Second City and for NBC in NYC.

Mike trained with Uta Hagan at HB Studios in NYC. In Los Angels he trained with Warner Loughlin, Kimberly Jentzen, Robert Colt, Jack Plotnick, Ivana Chubbuck, and Scott Sedita.
He studied Shakespeare at Steppen Wolf with Rob Clare.

Mike has a strong comedy background. He studied and performed with The Groundlings, Second City, UCB, Stan Wells, and Patrick Bristow.
Mike currently still performs alumni shows for Second City Los Angeles.
