Mike Rad can most recently be seen in the upcoming films ASTRAL PLANE DRIFTER and ACTIVATED MAN. Mike voiced a character in the up-coming cartoon comedy pilot: BIRCH Mike can also currently be seen in two episodes of THEM: COVENANT on Amazon Prime. He just finished filming a limited series for Apple TV called THE SHRINK NEXT DOOR with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.

Mike Rad has been a series regular on Comedy Central’s PRIME TIME GLICK with Martin Short. He has guest-starred on many television shows including: TELENOVELA, MARRY ME, LEGIT, WORKAHOLICS, EAGLE HEART, LEGENDS, WALKER TEXAS RANGER and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. He also had a recurring role role on the sci-fi cult hit SPECIAL UNIT 2.He has performed in sketches for CONAN and THE TONIGHT SHOW.He worked with Clive Owen in SHOOT EM UP, with Diane Lane in CINEMA VERITE, with Jerod Letto in SUNSET STRIP, and with Scarlett Johansson in THE NANNY DIARIES.He is most proud of my role in Award Winning film AMERICAN SPLENDOR with Paul Giamatti and Hope Davis.

Mike Rad has written, produced, and starred in the Award Winning shorts IT’S IN THE KITCHEN and I’M A CAT (also directed). He has starred in two award winning shorts GAME OF CHICKEN and SMOKING WET.

Mike Rad created the stage show THE CRACKERJACK which he performed Off Broadway NYC, The Fringe Festival, and at the The Stag Festival in Los Angeles.
He is currently working on turning this project into a feature film.

Mike Rad along with April Eckfeld co-created and co-hosted a the monthly Stand-Up Show called ART DAMAGE.
Mike Rad is a Winner of the Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest at Flappers Burbank. He has performed Stand-Up at many comedy clubs including The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, Flappers Burbank, Ha Ha Cafe, Second City, UCB, Bardot In Hollywood, CA.

Mike Rad is one half of the comedy team Zip Gun Boogie with David Robinson. They have performed at the Fringe Festival and at the LA Comedy Festival.

Mike Rad also had a very successful One Person Show called MAKE IT A REALITY which he performed at Second City, and for NBC in NYC.

Mike Rad has trained with Uta Hagan at HB Studios in NYC. In Los Angels he trained with Warner Loughlin, Kimberly Jentzen, Robert Colt, Jack Plotnick, Ivana Chubbuck, and Scott Sedita. He also studied Shakespeare at Steppen Wolf with Rob Clare.

Mike Rad has a strong comedy background. He also studied and performed with The Groundlings, Second City, UCB, Stan Wells, and Patrick Bristow.
He currently still performs alumni shows for Second City Los Angeles.

Mike Rad currently coaches commercial and theatrical acting. He also coaches self tapes. He currently teaches acting at Casting Call.
